As a graduate from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, I've had the chance to work on some very interesting problems. I have a particular interest in algorithms, distributed systems, and computational theory. I graduated with a degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering.
Aside from my classes, I've also tried to stay active within the UBC student community, as well as the Computer Science community as a whole. I was an executive for the Computer Science Student Society, a coordinator for the Student Leadership Conference, a mentor for the ChicTec mentoring program and Science Tri-Mentoring program, a student ambassador for Adobe Systems, and finally a technical student partner for Microsoft.
I am currently still a mentor for the UBC Science Tri-Mentoring Program, and I have intentions to return to school to complete my technical masters.
