Plant Genetics Breeding Simulation (codenamed "XGene 360")

In a group of six, we developed a quantitative genetics simulation web application using three-tier architecture. Our client is a biology professor at UBC and the project is intended to be used as a teaching-aid during lectures and assignments. The application simulates the breeding of plants across generations by simulating their genotypes as they breed. Integrating PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS and mySQL, we've created an interactive and engaging learning tool to provide a rich student experience.
